What is 3D Forge Studio?
3D Forge Studio is AskSary's text-to-3D generation tool. You describe a 3D object or environment in plain language, and the system generates a high-fidelity 3D asset ready to export into Unity, Unreal Engine, or any web-based 3D viewer.
This sits in a category of AI capability that most people don't realise exists yet. While text-to-image and text-to-video have become mainstream, text-to-3D is still genuinely surprising when you see it work — a sentence like "a weathered stone castle tower with mossy walls and a wooden door" producing a real, usable 3D model in minutes.
What you get — file formats and quality
3D Forge Studio generates assets with real-time render quality — meaning the geometry and textures are optimised for use in game engines and interactive environments, not just static images. Exports are compatible with Unity, Unreal Engine, and standard web 3D formats.
The output includes geometry (mesh), surface textures, and basic material properties. Complex lighting rigs and rigged animations are outside scope — these are static 3D assets, not animated characters. But for environment props, product visualisations, game assets, and architectural elements, the output is production-usable.
Who it's built for
Generate environment props, architectural elements, and world-building assets faster than traditional modelling. Excellent for indie developers and rapid prototyping.
Create 3D visualisation assets for presentations and mockups without specialist software or outsourcing to a 3D artist.
Generate 3D representations of products for interactive web previews, AR try-ons, and marketing materials.
Create 3D visualisations for complex concepts — molecular structures, historical objects, mechanical parts — for presentations and educational content.
How to generate your first model
Open the Command Centre in AskSary (the + symbol) and select 3D Forge Studio. Type a description of the 3D object you want to generate — the more specific the description, the more accurate the result. The system generates the model and renders an interactive 3D preview directly in AskSary. Use the export button to download in your preferred format.
Tips for better 3D output
- Describe materials explicitly. "Rusted iron gate with peeling black paint" gives better texture output than just "iron gate."
- Specify scale context. "A desk lamp sized for a home office" anchors proportions better than just "desk lamp."
- Reference a style. "Low-poly stylised" vs "photorealistic" produces very different results — specify the aesthetic you need.
- Start simple, add detail. Generate a basic version first, then refine with a more detailed description if it's not quite right.
💡 Think like a 3D artist. Describe the object's form, surface material, condition (new, worn, aged), and any distinctive features. The more visual detail you provide, the more specific and accurate the generated geometry and textures.
