Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what personal data AskSary ("we", "us") collects from you, how we use it, and who we share it with.

1. Data We Collect

We collect the following information to provide and improve our service. We do not sell your data to brokers, and we do not use this data to track you across third-party apps or websites for advertising.

Account Information: We collect your email address, display name, and hashed password.
User Content (Transmitted to AI): We collect the prompts you type and files you upload. This content is transmitted to third-party AI providers to generate your AI responses. Depending on the model you select, your prompts may be sent to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, or xAI (Grok).
Payment Information: Handled securely by Stripe (web/Android) and Apple App Store / Google Play (iOS/Android in-app purchases). We do not store credit card numbers.

2. How We Use Your Data

To provide the AskSary AI service and authenticate your account.
To transmit your prompts to third-party AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, xAI) for processing.
To process subscriptions and respond to support requests.

3. Third-Party Data Sharing

We share data only with essential partners who provide equivalent protection to your data:

OpenAI: Your text and file prompts may be sent to OpenAI's API to generate AI responses.
Anthropic: Your prompts may be sent to Anthropic's API (Claude models) to generate AI responses.
Google: Your prompts may be sent to Google's Gemini API to generate AI responses.
DeepSeek: Your prompts may be sent to DeepSeek's API to generate AI responses.
xAI (Grok): Your prompts may be sent to xAI's Grok API to generate AI responses.
Google Firebase: Used for secure authentication and database storage.
Stripe: Used for secure web and Android payment processing.
Apple App Store: Used for iOS in-app purchase processing.
Google Play: Used for Android in-app purchase processing.
Tavily: Used only if you utilize web-search features.

4. Cookies & Tracking

AskSary uses only essential session cookies for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising or profiling.

5. Your Data Rights & Deletion

You can permanently delete your entire account and all associated data via the "Delete Account" feature in your settings.
